Lake Nakuru National Park


Mbweha Camp

Tucked away in the spectacular vastness of The Great Rift Valley on a private 6400 acre Congreve Conservancy bordering Lake Nakuru National Park, Mbweha Camp is nestled up against the southern border of Lake Nakuru National Park with beautiful views of the Eburu and Mau Ranges.

10 cottages built of lava stone and thatched makuti roof add glamour and style to its contemporary African ambience. Every cottage is surrounded by Candelabra Euphobia, yellow barked Acacia and other indigenous trees that provide a relaxed atmosphere as you listen to the African night sounds of a lion roar or the laughter of the hyena in the distance. Bush walks, night game drives, sundowners or bush breakfast and hot air ballooning over the spectacular Great Rift Valley and the lakes below are additional activities that you can enjoy and enhance your stay in truly remarkable and authentic African setting.

The camp provides 2 family cottages, thereof one with one Queen size bed and 1 single bed and the other with one Queen size bed and 2 single beds. Further 4 double bed cottages and 4 twin bed cottages.



Sarova Lion Hill Lodge

Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge is nestled along the Lion Hill overlooking the spectacular flamingo pink rimmed Lake Nakuru. It's location affords panoramic views of the Lake and the picturesque Lake Nakuru National Park. The lodge is cleverly laid out such that most rooms and sitting areas afford stunning views of the Lake and the Park. The Lodge incorporates natural landscaping with tall acacia trees, winding walkways and greens dotted with bird feeds. The Lodge is a natural haven for bird life and attracts over 50 species of birds amongst the 400 species that inhabit the Park.

Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge includes 64 chalet style Standard rooms (7 pairs of interconnecting rooms) and 3 Suites, all with private patios providing panoramic views of the flamingo pink rimmed Lake Nakuru, en-suite bathrooms with permanent showers and WC, running hot & cold water, razor outlets with 220 and 240 volts (24 hours) and beds with mosquito nets and duvets.

Further a Main Restaurant, Bar and al fresco or private dining for the Suites. The Main restaurant serving buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner with live cooking counters preparing speciality dishes. Cuisine includes continental buffet. The Salad buffet has a wide variety of salads using the fresh ingredients and herbs from the Camp’s own vegetable and herb garden. The Dessert Buffet has a selection of mouthwatering desserts. The restaurant has a capacity of 200 people. The Rift Valley Bar opens out into an amphitheater where traditional dance performances are held each evening. The Bar offers spectacular views of sunset over the lake and hills beyond, an ideal place to unwind with sundowner.

The swimming pool adjoins a wellness tent. There is an activity room well stocked with indoor games and other recreation facilities for children, a well-equipped meeting room and a Sarova Shop for gifts and souvenirs. The entire Lodge is surrounded by a 24 hour electric fence.

Flamingo Hill Camp

The Flamingo Hill Camp is situated within the famous Lake Nakuru National Park. Small and exclusive, it comprises of 25 tents. Decorated in calming safari tones, natural woods, wrought iron and crisp cottons each tent has been meticulously planned to maximise comfort. All tents have the following facilities: four poster beds & mosquito nets, en-suite with shower, WC and flush toilets, writing desk, a private verandah overlooking the plains, hot and cold running water and 240 volt electricity.

The restaurant seats approximately 80 people comfortably and serves a buffet breakfast and lunch. Dinner is a mix of table d’hote or buffet style. The experienced chefs will prepare meals to tantalize taste buds! Breakfast is served daily, between 6.00am & 9.30am, Lunch between 12.30 noon & 2.30pm and Dinner can be enjoyed between 7.00pm & 9.30pm. The bar is well stocked with local as well as imported beverages. Enjoy the famous flamingo hill cocktail whilst relaxing in the comfortable and open Lounge with a view of the plains. Recline, get pampered by the staff and enjoy an African sundowner!

Socialise with other guests around a cosy fire in the evenings or simply get comfortable with a book from the Library. Refresh yourself after game drive by taking a dip in the clear waters of the swimming pool and unwind!



Lake Nakuru Lodge

Situated in the south east ecological niche of Lake Nakuru National Park is Lake Nakuru Lodge, an oasis of comfort and excellent service, with commanding views of the lesser flamingo dotted with the Greater Flamingo for which Lake Nakuru is justly famous. The lodge blends well with its surrounding and the animals often browse peacefully close to the lodge and environs, much to the fascination of the visitors.

There are accommodations for 180 people, either in family rooms, deluxe cottages, or suites. Lake Nakuru Lodge offers excellent cuisine, which includes outside catering, Bush Barbecue, African night and Sundowners. After a days watching, the spacious logged Mama Nikki bar,the cool upstairs Rhino Paddock Cocktail Bar overlooking the lake and the enticing blue swimming pool can be particularly inviting. Evening entertainment and slide shows for guests is interesting and varied. The Baboon Cliff lookout sits next to Honeymoon Hill, just relax and enjoy the view.



Maili Saba Camp

Maili Saba Camp is a sanctuary of tranquility and conviviality, only 20 Minutes from Lake Nakuru National Park. Tucked away on the edge of the magnificent, dormant, Menengai Crater it accommodates only twenty pampered guests at a time. Maili Saba Camp embraces a warm casual atmosphere within African Simplicity.

Each grass thatched tented banda has its own unique view on the crater. The bandas are all equipped with comfortable beds, a pleasant verandah or private terrace. Rinse off the safari dust under your spacious shower with all required facilities. Whether huddled over steaming morning coffee or savoring sundowners on your verandah overlooking the astonishing views or just take a plunge in the infinity pool, you will enjoy your stay at Maili Saba.

Oil lamps set a romantic mood in the rustic restaurant and bar while during breakfast you can enjoy the magnificent crater view. The Camp's dishes consist of fresh home cooked western and more Swahili influenced meals.
